Kindergarten Screening & Registration
Kindergarten Online Registration:
DAYTON ELEMENTARY – KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION – MARCH 13, 2025
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 9:00AM to 2:30PM, Dayton Elementary will
be holding kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year for students
living in the Dayton attendance area who will be reaching five years of age on or
before August 31, 2025. Call the school office at 814-257-8816, Ext. 1100, to
schedule an appointment to complete the registration process.
The following information should be brought with parents at the time they
register their child: the child’s original birth certificate and the child’s
immunization records, proof of residency such as a copy of the parent’s driver’s
license, a utility bill or a copy of your lease (anything that shows your current
name and address), and information you can make available that gives an
accurate description of your home location, such as your municipality, road
names, and/or landmarks for the purpose of planning bus routes.
For your convenience, most of the forms you will be required to complete the day
of registration are available on the ASD website. These forms can be downloaded
and completed by you prior to coming on March 13th. Having these documents
completed when you arrive will save you considerable time. These forms can be
found at www.asd.k12.pa.us , and under the “Parents & Students” tab, then
choose “kindergarten registration” and the pre-registration forms. Or you may
choose to come to the school beforehand and pick up a packet. While parents are
finishing up the registration process, the student will be screened on this day so
your child will need to be in attendance. This whole process should take no
longer than one half hour to complete.
